When the worst happens, and you have to inform your insurance company that you have lost something or been victim to a burglary, the claim can be more straightforward, and settled more quickly if you have an up to date insurance valuation.
Most insurance companies stipulate that a valuation is dated within the last three to five years, so it is important to make sure yours is up to date.
Whether it is for insurance, probate or division purposes, all of our valuations are completed in house, giving you peace of mind when leaving your most precious items with us.
We price our valuations per item, as we feel this is the fairest way to do it. The first item is charged at £35, which includes the initial consultation, with every subsequent item charged at £25 each. (For example if you had four items to be valued, we would usually charge £25 x 3 + £35 = £110) Some premium items may incur further costs but we will always advise you of these beforehand.
The service includes a complimentary clean of your jewellery, and usually only takes up to a week for smaller valuations. More time can be needed for larger valuations, but this will always be explained during your initial consultation.
Please give us a call or visit us at our showroom to discuss your requirements further.
